On March 29, 2008 Neighbhorhood Ministries of Laurel Heights started Connections (renamed "The Connection" in September 2008), a new outreach to our community as well as members of our congregation. This new avenue for contemporary worship is great for anyone looking for worship and fellowship in a small, informal group setting.
Flavored with the traditional serving of Holy Communion, but set up in the informal setting of the fellowship hall, The Connection offers a time for fellowship and supper (5:30 pm) before the service and a blending of contemporary praise music during worship.
Families are encouraged to fellowship and worship together. Childcare is provided for young children. Dress is casual and the service begins at 6:00 pm.
